The Trusted Business Community Small Business Association is made up of a group of expert businesses within their field. As with many SME’s (Small to Medium Sized Enterprises) advertising and marketing is a vital platform to get brand awareness out to the millions online throughout the world. Social media advertising across multi platforms is also vital to send messages out to your clients and prospects, however this all takes time and energy, most of which as small business owners, we don’t have!

Becoming an affiliated member, we aim to give you a voice within your local area. We are working with local authorities and police to gain valuable information on what is planned for your area. As business owners within our communities, it is imperative to know what is happening in our Towns and City’s and the impact that may have on our business. So whether it’s local crime or development you are concerned about, or any other matter that you would like to gain the heads up on, being an affiliated member with us means you are not kept in the dark.
Wherever possible we aim to arrange business meetups across the UK for the local authorities, local MP’s and local police forces to engage with you in a friendly informative environment. These meetups will be available from time to time throughout the year and will be subject to membership numbers available within each County of the UK at any given time.

The Badge of Trust
Upon qualifying to become a member you will receive the badge of trust that you can use on your fleet of vehicles, your website, social media promotions and your email signature strip. Depending on your demographic and who you wish your audience to be, will depend on which online platforms you may wish to choose, it could be all of them, but your business will naturally be added to our Pinterest, Facebook and Instagram with links back to your website or Facebook page, the rest is up to you!
Business Hub Meetings
We offer our associate members the opportunity to meet with each other and throughout recent years we have built business hub meeting points in Cambridgeshire and throughout Essex. It is our aim to bring these meetings to all areas across the UK and once we have a minimum of 20 companies as associate members in each County, we will open our doors for those businesses to benefit from face to face networking. These have been extremely successful and have given those in attendance the opportunity to grow connections, sales and partnerships dramatically over the past six years since our launch in 2013.
We always allow first time attendees free access to these events, so that they can get a feel for the community and decide if it is for them. Should a company wish to attend without being a member, a door charge for entry is £25.00, however associated members gain free access to all meetings once their membership has been agreed**.
Anyone can add their business to the directory completely free of charge, but it should be known that associated members are highlighted at the top of the page in any related search from the consumers. Associated members also benefit from alerts of any new listings of businesses that join the directory. As a business that may wish to engage with other companies, this feature is a great lead in to introduce themselves and allows you to start to build important ties with other like minded business owners across the regions of the members.
Please Note: By adding your business to the directory you are opting in and giving permission to be contacted by both consumers looking for services throughout the directory and businesses that form the membership of the Trusted Business Community, along with those businesses that are free listed within it.
We all know that we would love to keep everyone happy all of the time, but alas this is not always the case. As a member, if someone brings a complaint to us about one of our members, then we are happy to act as your mediator to resolve such issues that arise from time to time. This will also free up your time to get on with your business at the sharp end in the knowledge that the Association is looking into any issues on your behalf!
How Do I Join
Simply add your business to the directory on this website and we will be in touch to welcome you to the community. We will discuss with you whether you wish to be a free listing only or benefit from all the added value of being an affiliated member during that call. Should you wish to join, the cost for this is just £150.00** per year, that’s the equivalent of just £2.88 per week, giving you a wealth of benefits without breaking the bank!
Please note that from the 1st April 2020 the annual membership subscription will increase to £199.00 per year to incorporate advanced services that are now on offer through the association.

Simply put, should you introduce 10 businesses to the affiliated membership and they join we will give you 10% for each new member that you have introduced. This means you gain renewal completely free of charge for each year you introduce a minimum of 10 new companies to the membership.
1 business = 10% off your renewal subscription
5 businesses = 50% off your renewal subscription
10 businesses + = 100% off your renewal subscription

** Free access to members is available when they bring a business guest with them at each event they wish to attend. A £10 door charge is payable should they wish to attend alone, with 50% of the door charge going to our Charity Partners Kids Inspire. Non-Members returning pay £25.00 on the door, of which £5.00 of that door charge will go to our Charity Partners Kids Inspire. 10% of all memberships will also get donated to Charity Partners.
